About Us
The Salamanca Board of Public Utilities is Non Profit by design, and is governed by a five-member Board who typically meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Conference Room across from the Court Room in the Municipal Building at 225 Wildwood Avenue.
The Salamanca BPU owns and operates the Municipal Potable Water Production Facility located at 71 Water Street, the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 299 Center Street, the Rochester Street and Frank Street Electrical Substations, the Potable Water Storage Reservoir and Watershed located in Newton Run, and numerous Pumping Stations located throughout the City of Salamanca.
